I slept on list views for way too long.
I used to think they were just alternate ways to view records, but now I get how powerful they are for users. Today I made a few custom list views for our service team and it was a game-changer.
Some tips I’ve picked up:
Add filters so users only see what they care about (like “My Open Cases”)
Use the Kanban view for status-based workflows—it's super visual
Add the right columns and sort order to speed up workflows
Also: if you check the box for “Only I can see this view,” don’t forget to switch it to “Visible to all users” when it’s ready. I made that mistake. Twice.
